Tummy buldge...(more)
64 yo (no Alfred Dunner for me!)Live in jeans and 3/4 length anything tops. Stats: 36-30-40, 130 lbs, small frame, narrow shoulders. Problem: very self-conscious of tummy buldge. Can't find tops that are long and loose enough to camoflage the buldge that don't look like they're 2 sizes too big. Any suggestions on brands/sizes/styles to help me? Thanks...

what is your go to outfit on the weekend?? I want to be comfy cause i have 2 kids but i'm tired of yoga pants
-
going to a cocktail party, but its freezing outside. do i need to wear a longsleeve dress?? what do you do in this freezing weather?
-
I have heard that wearing a pretty jacket over a short sleeved dress is current, though I'm used to cardigans or shawls
-
i don't have many long sleeve dresses, so i just bring a wrap and usually end up wearing it all night.
-
what are the thoughts on skinny jeans? i know i'm late to this trend, but i sorta like them suddenly.
-
I like them. Love to wear them under tunics or long shirts
-
I personally like the extra skinny from express, if you are gonna go with skinny, they might as well be ultrs skinny, IMO
-
i have been wearing them since the trend started, love them with my high boots.

Political ...(more)
I attend a lot of political fundraiser and want to be fashionable but still conservative. I am curvy women size 16 so I still need to dress best for my size but not like an old lady...i am 36
-
I agree. I am more of a pants suit kinda girl as I am a 14 and don't like my legs. But I do like my neckline so I focus on a nice necklace to "fashion" up a conservative suit.
-
I would say a suit is timeless. Either skirt or pants, just make sure it is "up to date" and stylish with good accessories ie earring and shoes.

Alpha Size...(more)
What does 'alpha size' mean on the size listing?
-
if you had to go on a work trip to a nice beach place, would you wear a bathing suit in front of co-workers?

Who do you think is the best dress real housewife of NY?

measurements clarification...(more)
I know this might sound silly, but can you clarify the best way to take the 3 measurements needed for your site? For example, in the past, I've seen waist size measured anywhere from above the belly button to almost all the way down at the hips. It seems like everyone defines waist, hips, and even bust differantly these days.
-
no problem, its on the home page under measurement hints, but here it is. Let me know if you have any other questions....(more)
1. Start with your bust. This is taken around the fullest part. 2. Next, measure your waist at the narrowest part. For most women, this is about an inch above your belly button. 3. Measure your hips last. Be sure to measure the fullest part of your hips, which is usually about 7 to 8 inches below your waist.

Please help pick out a dress for me for summer wedding. Bigger than I have ever been before. Size 8 with a belly.

Does anyone have Fit Flops? What do you think of them. . .do they work?

Bra Sizes...(more)
Do you think you will be addressing bras for larger sizes? I have no idea what comes after a size E! Can you recommend anything? Help!!!
-
bras are soooo tough!!! I wish there was a way to get "size charts" for them, but I haven't found it yet. I personally can't buy bras online for this reason. . the one thing...(more)
I can recommend would be to go to one of those stores that does fittings (yes, if you are shy it can be weird, but they know what they are doing) and once you find a brand/size. . .then you can stick to it, and get all the different colors etc. . .Sorry if that wasn't helpful. Trust me, I too have had this issue!!
-
I am short and also high waisted (not a good combo). I feel I look dumb in shorts. . any recs for either styles or brands?
-
I find I don't want to shop at BR anymore because I am a full pant size larger which is why I guess a site like this is created. BOO BR.
-
I love the Liberty stuff at Target for dd but can't find it anywhere.
-
What are your favorite pants post-prganancy... feel like no pants fit the muffin top well.
-
Nice website! Thanks for starting this board! Is anyone else disappointed in the Zac Posen for Target line?
